E-Series is the only cargo van in its class to come with a standard V8: the
4.6L Triton, Every E-Series gas engine features a silent-design cam drive for smooth, quiet operation, plus a fail-safe cooling system and a 100,000-mile scheduled tune-up interval. The 4.6L Triton® V8 engine has 225 hp and 286 lb.-ft. of torque. Plus the 4.6L Triton V8 is a flexible fuel engine, meaning it's capable of running on E85, unleaded gasoline, or a combination of the two.
