F-550 Payload Package
The new Payload Package on the F-550 takes Super Duty® capability even further with 19,500 lbs. GVWR. The F-550 Payload Package includes the following features:
- Upgraded frames
- Upgraded rear axle (Dana S130, 15,000 lbs.)
- Upgraded higher capacity rear suspension (15,000 lbs.)
- Increases rear GAWR to 14,706 lbs. - an increase of 1,046 lbs. for improved load flexibility
- 500 lbs. more payload on gasoline vehicles (maintains diesel payload at 19,500 lbs. GVWR)
- Optional low deflection (high rate) rear springs
