Select Tow/Haul Mode when hauling a heavy load or trailer. It helps reduce gear hunting, improves power delivery, and even uses engine braking to help control vehicle speed when descending hills. The available transmission-integrated Power Take Off (PTO) provision is essential for powering accessories like liftgates, skylifts, auxiliary hydraulic pumps and other add-on equipment.
This transmission features gear sets and a three-plate, two-stage torque converter designed to reduce turbine noise when the converter is locked. With the proven TorqShift® automatic transmission and the powerful torque from the 6.4L diesel, 2010 Super Duty® is definitely Built Ford Tough.
